个人简介

刘信陶,副教授。2012年毕业于瑞典皇家工学院地理信息学专业,获博士学位,随后在加拿大多伦多都会大学(前瑞尔森大学)任博士后和临时讲师,20168月入职香港理工大学担任助理教授。主要从事地理信息,城市科学,交通地理以及复杂科学等理论研究,其研究目标是运用现代技术,推动智慧城市发展,提高城市生活质量。

目前发表论文70余篇(包括AAGIJGIS, Earth-Science Reviews等期刊),主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、香港研究资助局、香港创新及科技基金、香港公共政策研究资助计划、香港理工大学等科研项目10余项。担任国际城市信息学期刊执行编辑,国际城市信息学协会秘书,国际制图协会地理建模分析委员会副主席等国际学术组织职务。
